Tradition must have been a resource as Köroğlular, Emrahlar, Ruhsatîler dug this pure water out of the earth. The âşık and ozans raised in these lands where these waters flow are the protective dikes that prevent those water arcs from fading away. Âşık Veysel is such an âşık that turned the arc from which he was born, into a river. In our age Âşık Veysel has re-invented our poetry language with his poems he said with love. This re-innovation refers to the effort of the âşık who was raised within the tradition of masterapprentice. Therefore, every poem that he says brings breezes from Köroğlu, Emrah and Ruhsâtî in a unique style. In the bag of Veysel sorrow and joy, despair and hope, longing and reunion become one.
